Saad Audeh
Visionary & Developer, SIA Life Company

As the developer for CAMPBELL GRAY LIVING Amman, how would you describe your overall vision for this project?
When I was first introduced to the Abdali project and saw the master plan, my eye was immediately drawn to the two most unique, and in my mind iconic, buildings towering over Amman’s new downtown. This sparked the idea to bring not only the best hotel to Amman, but an entirely new lifestyle concept which we call CAMPBELL GRAY LIVING.

When did you have the idea of bringing Campbell Gray To Jordan?
I’ve spent the past 25 years staying in the best hotels around the world. When we decided to invest in Amman, we wanted to bring this city a modern take on 5 star luxury, one with an utterly original perspective. I had been invited to dinner at Le Gray, Beirut and was immediately taken by how it captured the excitement, glamour and sophistication of Beirut. And then I met Gordon Campbell Gray, the maestro behind CAMPBELL GRAY HOTELS. One conversation turned into many more and the rest is now history.

What are you most excited about?
Seeing a project of this scale come to fruition with some of the world’s best talents is a dream come true. I can’t wait to see this new hub of Amman and CAMPBELL GRAY LIVING realised in the way that has taken us almost 8 years to build. I’m looking forward to sitting back and observing the way our guests enjoy and interact within this special space.

How would you describe the CAMPBELL GRAY LIVING philosophy?
The Campbell Gray experience is all about how service and attention to detail matter above all. We are excited to bring a new lifestyle hotel and residences concept that obsesses about these details. The interiors are all exquisitely done with nothing garish or ‘old world’. No compromises were made when it came to the quality of the build, materials and equipment used or the finishes. This is modern living at its best.

How do you think the project will be received in Amman?
Amman has a highly sophisticated, well-educated and well-travelled population. With the hotel, the residences, the offices and the boutiques, modern Jordanians will have a new place to play, a place that blends the best of the country’s traditions with the lifestyle and amenities of the world’s key cosmopolitan centres.
