Beaches & Watersports
Boasting over 150 miles (250 km) of stunning coastline and a glorious Mediterranean climate, Malta’s beaches are some of the best in Europe. Lively resorts give way to secluded coves and craggy inlets. The warm red sand of Ramla l-Ħamra, on Gozo, has been a favourite with travellers for centuries.

The crystal clear waters that surround the archipelago offer excellent snorkelling and scuba diving. Caves, wrecks and a vibrant assortment of fish lurk below the periwinkle surface, waiting to be discovered.
Sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and jet skiing are all popular pursuits with rental shops dotted around the coast.
