The Phoenicia, part of the Leading Hotels of the World and CampbellGray Hotels, has once
again been awarded TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards 2019 as one of Malta’s 10 best hotels.

TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site, while Travellers’ Choice award winners were determined based on millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from TripAdvisor travellers worldwide. The hallmarks of Travellers’ Choice winners are remarkable service, quality and value.

The Phoenicia ranked in the top 2 for luxury, top 3 for overall hotel and top 5 for romance, making it Malta’s most consistent performer in the key luxury categories.

Reviewers heaped praise onto The Phoenicia, with guests hailing virtually every aspect of their stay there, from the management and staff to the quality of food and impressive views. Jacqueline K from Frankfurt, Germany, was typical of the kind of review attracted by Malta’s first 5-star hotel, she said, “I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful stay. A great hotel with excellent staff. The rooms are nice – I would recommend to choose a room that is overlooking the harbour. The breakfast has many choices and is delicious. For dinner my favourite place was the Café Phoenicia – which offers great food. And I have to mention the wonderful staff that is working there! The location of the hotel is perfect – right in the city
of Valletta.”
